Lesson 257: We Are Specific...

“We are specific, yes. We have characteristics, we have gifts, we have flaws and foibles. But at our essence, we are the same—not just with each other, but with every energy in the Universe.”

Today we are to think about what is specific to our self and what gifts have you brought into your human life. Do you find that you use them or neglect them? Why is that so?

It took a long time for me to figure out what I am good at and what “gifts” I have. I think everyone has something to offer the world, whether or not they realise it. Sometimes it’s an awakening within self to determine what gifts you bring into your life. I have found my creativity was something heavily neglected. I started it out as a child and it got lost in my teenager years and in my twenties. It’s only now in my thirties that I really am exploring the talent within. Besides this, I find I have some gifts from my spiritual side also which include medium skills, card reading such as tarot and just gaining and spreading knowledge to other people that I meet along the way.

I think there are skills that I need to explore further with my creativity. I have recently started painting and hopefully when I get my own art space to paint in, I’m going to create so much more. It truly is a path of discovery for me. every day is, really. I look forward to the gifts I awaken inside myself and bring forth to the world. I think the creativity and spirituality will come together to help others in the world. It’s just a matter of time before it all comes together.

Day 167 - A Year of Spiritual Awakening - We Are One With One...

Lesson 167: We Are One With One...

We are all interconnected and “we are one with the One of all universal energy”. This isn’t a concept that everyone will come to know nor understand. For some, it’s too much for them to handle and even when told, they might not grasp the concept. We are one collective that has the power to make change together and influence each other. We can all come to one understanding though we are divided by difference. To connect with the Divine is an ultimate power though the closest some can come to understanding this, is through bliss. The Universe will send us information through small experiences. Today we are to notice a small fragment of this information that helps us to understand this Oneness.

My Saturday consisted of working at the witchcraft store, attending a workshop at the store, meeting some beautiful people whilst at the store and then going to a game of Australian football at night with friends. When I recount over my day, I believe all my activities go through the concept of Oneness and interconnectedness. When I was at the workshop learning about poppet magick, the group of ladies were discussing a rape and murder of a young woman in Melbourne. This is a high topic of conversation at the moment as authorities caution women to take more care rather than educating men to not hurt women. Even though this was a sad and unfortunate circumstances, I instantly felt that sadness amongst everyone. When we’re a collective of humans, it’s about sharing those type of feelings, whether good or bad. We are one in each other for having the same sympathy towards that particular occurrence.

On the flip side of coming together, I attended a sports match where everyone goes to experience a love of a team and share in that event. As a collective, we are all combined to find this bliss together in a shared interest. It’s such a simple activity but reinforces this concept of interconnectedness and sharing universal energy. It doesn’t have to be a grand act to be connected to each other. Simple things can really send a wider message if we want to acknowledge it. It is through these simple activities that teaches us how widespread a love can be and how in any situation people can come together for a purpose.
