My Interpretation of the Card
There are times when you need to follow your gut instincts to what’s going on around you. If something doesn’t feel right, trust that. You have the inner wisdom inside to know what is right and wrong. Sometimes there will moments in life where people might deceive you or even just the world is trying to force something onto you, that isn’t you. We are inundated with images that say we’re not the right body type, you can’t eat that, you need to wear this outfit to be cool… and it’s time for you to see the truth in this world that surrounds us. Don’t be manipulated into something that doesn’t resonate with you. Be true to you.
Guidebook Meaning - Summary
Do not be deceived. Be watchful and mindful of the illusion others weave around themselves, and that you may weave yourself. Know the night. Understand the shadows. See through the darkness to the light of truth. Pay attention to contradictions. Notice when actions and words are not in harmony. Hone your intuition and insight so that you may know the minds and hearts of those around you – and yourself – and trust in the wisdom born of that awareness.
Conclusion Between my Interpretation & Guidebook
I went down a different road but felt like I was heading on the right path. I didn't directly say darkness but referred to all the negative things that bring us down. Owls are are about spirituality and wisdom.
