My Interpretation of the Card
It’s time to return to nature. Mother Earth wants to remind you of the healing energy that she can provide you. You are her child and she can provide the comfort that you need in this moment. It is through Mother Earth in which all is birthed. The Tree of Life serves to a reminder of where we begin and how we grow throughout life. There is no reason why you should take things on by yourself for the answers can always be given if you take a moment to pause whilst out in nature. The Tree of Life can shine upon you the light and highlight the possibilities that you may not have recognised before. Take a moment to pause and be with nature. Clarity will be gained as a result.
Guidebook Meaning – Summary
The breath of life is all around us. The Tree of Life provides a gateway to connect with us to the knowledge of self. You are being asked to look at your breath and to ground yourself in the present moment. Living in the present will provide you with more time. Your presence is all that required of you right now. Where are your roots? Plant and keep your feet firmly on the ground now. Dig your roots to build a solid foundation into the earth. Do you rely on others too much to help you grow? You have the answer within you to determine your direction of growth but you need to face your inner self and core beliefs. Family matters are a concern now. Be open to solutions to achieve the outcome you desire. Be careful with your decisions. Too much compromise will leave you feeling powerless. Like a branch on a tree, growth will occur in an area that supports the core structure or it will break and drop in order to maintain the overall strength of the tree itself. You may need to drop a branch or two to solidify your point of view or to reach a resolution. Patience is key.
Conclusion Between my Interpretation & Guidebook
This card was a bit of a challenge. I just kept getting the vibe of be one with nature and the guidance you need will come from connecting. I felt like the guidebook meaning goes off on a tangent about family which I didn’t really feel connected to the card. It’s not my own deck, so I shouldn’t really comment. Anyway, I’ve only got a few more cards until I’m finished. Looking forward to choose a new deck to learn.
