Energy Oracle Cards - The World
/The World
My Interpretation of the Card
Upright
This card upright shows the world is opening up to you as you let the light in. You may have a larger part to play in healing the world by shining your own light upon it. Whether you’re helping others or fighting for a cause, your efforts will do good on the world. It is also uplifting to do good for another or for the environment, so take the time for gratitude of what you have and what you can offer to heal the world. You may also feel like the world is on your side.
Reversed
This card in reverse shows that you may feel the world is caving in on you. Take the time to stop, reflect and ask for guidance in how you can take control of your situation. You might need to look at self-healing before you can help others. There may need a strong focus on your self than others. It’s only when we can truly love and heal ourselves, that we can go to help others. Focus on you and then when ready, take the time to care for others.
Guidebook Meaning - Summary
Expansion, Opening Up
Upright
The man in this picture is looking out over a bay, above which the beautiful sphere of the earth is rotating. This card is a reminder to look at your options and expand your vision. This may be a time to network through a global network eg/ social networking. It’s time to think big than just your limited view. You have unlimited resources and it’s time to utilise this for your creativity. The world is your oyster.
Reversed
This card in reversed indicates your limited views. You are limiting your options and thinking too narrowly to what you think you deserve. You should try thinking outside the box and stop self-doubt. You have the option to let this all go and take a moment to really think how high you can go with your goals and dreams. It’s time to break out of your fear and narrow thinking and know the world is waiting for you to shine.
**Please note, I did not want to copy Sandra Anne Taylor's meaning literally to my blog as that's copyrighted information so I supplied a summary instead.
Conclusion Between my Interpretation & Guidebook
I took on a very different approach. That's not to say I was completely wrong. I was looking at the picture because the man looked like figure was there to do something to help the world rather than opening themselves up to the world. Different interpretation I guess!
