Men's Baseball Raglan Tees

Hi Everyone! My friend had asked me to look into the Men's Raglan Tees.

Most sport uniform shops will sell them but most of the sites were based in the US and didn't ship to Australia. I opted to go with finding plain baseball raglan tees as requested.

What I did manage to find at reasonable prices is listed below.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Blank Clothing off a range of "blank" clothing at cheap prices because the idea is to buy in bulk. They have no minimum order value and the more you buy the cheaper it gets. The baseball raglan shirts cost AU$12.10 for one piece but when buying 2-9 items it will cost $10.45 per piece, 10-19 items will cost $9.15 per piece and 20+ items will cost $7.87 per piece.
Amazon offered the brand Anvil with prices ranging from US$7.59 - $29.62. Depending on the colour and size of the garment, will determine the price. There actually is a vast range of colours from this brand and also no minimum order. I would have linked the Anvil clothing website but unfortunately they do not ship to Australia so linked Amazon instead.
ascolour offers the 3/4 raglan tee for AU$20 each. If buying 4-9 units, the price will drop to $15 each. There is no minimum order and the reason why I like this site, is because it actually will show you how many items are in stock for each colour.
Plane Clothes offered the baseball tee at AU$20-$29 depending on the style of the tee. They also have retail stores in Melbourne if you are close by and want to check it out. They also sell women's clothing. The styling is simple and no over the top colouring.
Jersey Joe offered all 3 short sleeve, 3/4 sleeve and full length on their website. They also specialize in all sports jerseys for American based teams. The raglans range in cost for US$6.94-$11. Good thing about finding this site is that they actually ship to Australia!
Karma Loop offers both plain and printed baseball tees. The cheapest raglan tee I found cost US$13.95 on sale. They do offer a range of colours for this tee. If you get stuck searching, I just typed "baseball" and it took me to 3 pages of baseball related wear. They also have a cheap offer on shipping when using the code: KLSPRING
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There were a lot of designer brands that sold baseball tees for over $50 but I thought I would list the cheapest as possible. There are also sites such as The Print Bar, Zazzle and Cafe Press that sell baseball tees and you can add your own design to the tee as well with prices starting at AU$27.

If anyone would like me to list ladies baseball raglan's, please let me know.

Remember clicking on the text link or logo link will redirect you to the website listed.

Business Accessories for Men

You can't go to work without the proper accessories, right? I think any man wearing business shirts, will need to accompany it with at least, a nice tie and possibly cufflinks. To polish off your attire, for the ultimate professional look, you can add in a tie clip. So here's my attempt at providing some cheap options for these men's business accessories.

Tiesncuffs routinely have specials on their ties and cufflinks. At the moment they are offering a special on their Roberto Loren collection where you buy 9 ties for AU$100. That's approximately $11 per tie. They do sell designer ties and if buying multiple items, it ends up cheaper for you. The ties above are part of the Roberto Loren range. They do offer Kenzo and Valentino ties at 2 for $200 where the ties are normally $170 each.

Tiesncuffs are also offering 10 for $100 on their self branded cufflinks and novelty cufflinks.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TheCuffShop is currently offering a deal of any 7 cufflink sets for AU$100. They offer a range of stainless steel, novelty, classic, professional and retro cufflinks. With this special offer, each cufflink set will cost approximately AU$14 each. The pics above are from their classic range and I like all the shiny, sparkly links.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

TheTieBar advertises that they always sell ties for US$15 every day. They offer a vast range of knit, silk and wool ties. I particularly like this site because it's interactive, in that you can select the shirt background and type of suit you are wearing to see if the tie would suit. Definitely recommend this site!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
needanewTie offers ties with matching cufflinks. I managed to find some on sale for AU$20 and you can add a matching hanky from AU$1 - $5. Personally, I think hankies are gross but if you are wearing a suit, it's good for your breast pocket if you want to match the whole outfit.
I found the cheapest tie bars/clips on this website also. They are on sale for AU$10 and I thought they look really flashy because they are gold plates and shiny :) Total bargain I thought.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

CufflinksEmpire is also a cheap website to buy cufflinks. The range when buying on your own costs AU$25 or you can buy 7 for AU$99. This works out to be approximately $14 per set. They offer a vast range of cufflinks and also run a deal that when purchasing 2 or more, they'll give you a free tie with matching cufflink and hanky. They pride themselves on fast delivery and deliver all their stock from Sydney.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ties-Necktie offers a good range of colours and their website is really organized in display. The ties range from $8.95 - $49.90 and they do also offer designer ties. I believe they have a tie for everyone and their necktie outlet section will list all the ties on sale. Good site to get big discounts!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

BenjaminCufflinks promote that they are the largest Australian supplier for cufflinks. The costs range from AU$20 - $275 depending on the quality. I actually went to this site to check out the tie bars. The costs on the tie bars are $33 each or you can buy it in a gift set with matching cufflinks for $55. You do pay for 12 month warranty on the product and if you don't like the product, you do have 14 days to exchange. They are proudly Australia owned and operated and promote that they were the first online cufflink retailer.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TieDaily is currently offering 3 for AU$50 on their silk ties. That's approximately AU$16 per tie. There isn't much in their range, but they do link they affiliate sites so you can buy more business attire.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I hope this inspires more men to suit up and accessorise their business attire. I think a lot of men can look better just by applying a tie. I believe these sites will help when attending a formal occasion or accessorising for a wedding. Let me know if you find any cheap sites. I did briefly look on EBay but thought most on offer were cheaper looking ties from Asia. Even though it may be cheaper, I believe by paying a bit more you can gain quality.

Basic Essentials for Men

So I start my blog and I get asked straight out to include mens clothing. So I started my research and found that there are cheap mens clothing websites. I was under the illusion that this wasn't possible considering a basic mens button up can cost $79.95 minimum. Oh how I was wrong.

First find was drjays.com. I was really impressed with this website and the layout for basic essentials. You can set the "Sort By" drop down menu to lowest to highest and actually find some really good finds at cheap prices. Also in the top right, there is also the option to set your currency. Just to cover a few essential items I believe every man should have in their closet:-

The Basic Tee. Classic Item that is easily worn with a pair of jeans or for an underlay. Listing price currently on the website: AU$12.18***

The Tank top. Worn with cargo shorts, jean shorts, workout top or as an under garment. Listing price currently on the website: AU$9.46***

The Button Up Shirt. Worn best with jeans/dress jeans or trouser pants for a casual day out. Listing price currently on the website: AU$29.61***

The Cotton Vest. Worn over a basic cotton shirt for a casual outfit or worn over a business shirt for work. Vests can make an outfit not look so boring :) Listing price currently on the website: AU$12.11***

The Man Sweater. I think every man should have a sweater. Sweaters,  can compliment a casual outfit to make it more trendy or it can be worn over a work shirt without a tie. These sweaters range from AU$17.58-21.64*** currently on drjays.com

The Denim. I personally like slim fit on men. I cringe when I see guys wearing skinny jeans and it's just a little bit too tight. The left hand pair is more casual that you would wear with T-shirts where as the right hand pair can be dressed up with a button up shirt.

Drjays.com has a vast range of clothing and you can easily sift through the good quality to higher quality of clothing. For more formal wear or business attire, my favourite pick is:

I was quite surprised with overstock.com with the availability of suits. For simple work suits, I managed to find suits for under AU$100. Only catch with any suit, is that you need to know your measurements in waist size and length of pants.

For formal wear, I found some nice sleek suits in particular, Georgio Fiorelli suits. For some reason, the suits that were listed reminded me of Barney Stinson from How I met your mother. This particular suit costs under AU$150. Check it out:

The next item of clothing that caught my eye was the wool blend coats. You will find some decent coats for under $150. These can be worn over a casual outfit or also over your work clothes.

Other sites that I would recommend for suit shopping or business attire are:-

For some casual wear,outdoor clothing and designer labels I'd also recommend visiting:-

And previously mentioned:-

I know what you are probably thinking... Rivers? I do buy some of my clothes from Rivers because they have something on sale all year round. I like buying their winter coats, when the time of year comes around. Plus you can get free shipping over AU $100. They do sell quite a few mens casual button up short sleeve shirts which I think is ideal for summer.

Please note all my prices are in Australian dollars. You can go to www.xe.com/ucc/ to calculate in your local currency.
