Jumper Madness

It's Autumn here in Perth and it means nice cool weather is approaching. I have really been looking out for Jumpers, or sweatshirts as some call it, to go with all my Black Milk Clothing leggings. It has been discussed on the Black Milk community groups of wear to buy hamburger jumpers (because who doesn't want a hamburger jumper??) but also in making online purchases, some girls have had bad customer experiences. So, here I will share some sites I found that might be useful in your printed jumper search!

firebox
firebox

Firebox is based in the UK and has so many animal printed tees and also has the hamburger jumper!! These jumpers cost £39.99.

So this is the company that has mixed reviews - some people have really good experiences whilst others don't receive their items for 6 months! I don't want to judge as I have never bought from them so it's really up to you whether you take the risk. They do sell cool leggings and tops as well. Jumpers start from €30

Totally fell in love with this alien cat jumper! There is only 4 jumpers in the range but I stumbled upon this when searching galaxy jumpers. They cost €77  - just a little bit pricey but I think I would way up cuteness on this :)

The freshtops jumpers are more simpler but there are some funny sayings from movies and in general. I particularly liked these jumpers. Prices range from US$27-47.

Sugarpills is a Polish brand that offer some outrageous designs as well as simple ones. I like them very much because they are a bit edgy in their designs. Prices start at 129 Polish Zloty which converted to Australian dollars is roughly $40. Here are my fav prints:

The reason why I want to buy from this company is because they have this jumper that I use as my logo on Facebook and this blog!

So all this makes me want to do is shop for really cute jumpers but I must be good! Got to pay off the debt I created by shopping in the first place!

Pink Day Dress OOTD

I wore this out on a hot summer's day because wearing tights was not an option :P This dress only cost me $15 from Ally Fashion on sale. The great thing about the Perth City store is that the downstairs section has every item on sale so you can always grab a bargain. This dress would have normally cost $40.

I wore this with a white belt, white headband, white ballet flats and a cupcake necklace. I attempted to create a nice day dress look that could be worn to high tea or a family lunch. It's very simple and didn't take many accessories to create.

The belt I bought in Singapore which if I remember was 3 for $10.

Headband would have been 3 for $10 from Diva

Ballet flats is $10 from Rubi Shoes

The cupcake necklace was from an Etsy store (which is now closed) for $8.

Sorry for the dodgy pictures - I worked with what my Boyfriend shot :) Plus, I didn't shoot a Socialcam vid for my outfit either :(

I love Ally Fashion because you can always find something that looks good and is not overpriced.

Have a nice day pretties and more posts to come soon!

Savvy by DB - Mint Julep & Blue Bayou

img_8199.jpg

IMG_8200

I decided to share some more pretty coloured nail polish - DB Savvy Mint Julep and Blue Bayou. Mint seems to be everywhere still - as well as every pastel colour.

Mint Julep looks more baby blue rather than Mint to me but I still like how it paints.

IMG_8201

Blue Bayou is a light blue glitter nail polish with few bits of silver chunky glitter parts in it. You do have to paint quite a few coats in order to get enough amounts of glitter out of it.  Probably not the best nail polish to wear on it's own.

I decided to paint 2 coats of Mint Julep as the base and Blue Bayou in a diagonal direction. Took me at least 3 coats to get a light glitter stroke against the mint.

I feel like these are Cinderella nails or at least Princessy :) They do look very dainty and girly.

Now I just need a special place to go to to show these off!

Savvy by DB - Pink Flamingo & Purple Viking

img_8158.jpg

People often ask me why I do 3 fingers one colour and 2 fingers the other colour. The reason for this is so that I can do 2 reviews in the one post :)

Here I bring Savvy by DB Pink Flamingo & Purple Viking:

IMG_8158

They both cost $2.99 from Priceline and I believe you can only buy it from Priceline.

I must admit that I never wear base coat or top coats because I don't have the patience to wait and watch paint dry.

Considering how cheap this nail polish is, it's fast drying and lasts a week without top coat. Pink Flamingo is a pink nail polish with a silver glitter mix. Purple Viking is a purple based glitter with red specks through it.

IMG_8156

They both dry smooth and easy to wear. When I think of flamingo I think of a brighter pink but this nail polish is darker when applied. The purple viking wears exactly how you see it in the bottle. I wore these 2 together because they compliment each other. They are also easy to remove if you're using a good quality nail polish remover - there is nothing worse than trying to remove glitter nail polish and it destroys your nails.

Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I think it's good to test out nail polish without top coat to see how long it actually lasts..... or so I tell myself  :)
