So had a big Peter Alexander overload this weekend. My brother and sister in law gave me a $100 voucher for my birthday so I spent that on Saturday. But, then went shopping with a friend Sunday and bought more sleepwear from the Harbour Town outlet :D

Here is what I wore

Pink Waffle Leggings: on sale for $14.50

Floral Hoodie: on sale for $14.50

Heart ugg/bed boots: $15 from Target

So there you go!

You can still look cute in sleep wear! Remember to always look presentable!

Sportsgirl - Flamingo & Caramel Nail Polish

20120906-185232.jpg

So this post is brought to you from my shopping days before my birthday in August. So when going into Sportsgirl, I found all these accessories on sale.

On a previous post, I wrote about a lipgloss that I purchased just for the additional light and mirror. Well, in the same transaction, I also bought these 2 nail polishes - Flamingo and Caramel.

20120906-184600.jpg

They cost $2.95 each, marked down from $7.95, so I thought why not? The Flamingo is a hot pink shade with a slightly sleeked finish. It's Barbie pink. It's LiLi. It's hot to trot.

The caramel nail polish is a platinum shimmer and wasn't what what I expected. Looking at the bottle, it looks like a light brown / bronze colour. On application, it's a totally different shade. I actually like it better than what I thought it would be like. It is really like a nude shimmer with a platinum edge.

I must say, this picture does not give the caramel nail polish justice. It looks so much better in person. It's one of those tones that look good against any skin tone. It's an adaptable shade. What I like about these colours is that they dry quickly. And by quickly, I mean a few minutes. I only placed 2 coats on and it's perfect. I hadn't placed top coat because I couldn't find it :( Sorry but my hands probably look haggard in this picture too as I don't look after my hands like I should.

Overall, I am quite happy with how the colours turned out, and I thought I would try something different with my nails than just one colour.

So be sure to check out Sportgirl's website here for all the latest trends. The nail polishes I purchased may still be in store and on sale but they have a new range out now as well.

I recommend their beauty accessories as they have not disappointed! Plus it's always good to find a great bargain!

We <3 Millificent

I like Facebook ads because I always have accessory and fashion stores that pop up that I have never heard of before. But this is a good thing because it gives bloggers like us a chance in promoting these stores :) Well that's how I see it anyway!

This is how I found Millificent. It is an Etsy store that specializes in burlesque and alternative accessories.

Like most Etsy stores, this is all handmade and for me, I consider the pricing to be quite cheap :)

Here are some of my favs that I chose out:

Prices start at $10 and range up to $25. This will help finish off any pinup girl look but even if you're not rockabilly, burlesque wearer, I believe there is a piece in this shop for everybody.

It's always a good thing to support local talent also. All items are from Melbourne Australia :)
