Being Bound

This card stems from the running theme of a higher power indicating to us to close chapters, have new beginnings and doing some soul searching so that we are pursuing what we want in life. We can be bound in old patterns, old ways of thinking and distractions that can stop us from going internally and fulfilling our hearts desire. If we're stuck in this way, we will not be living a life that is truly ours.

Past events/traumas can hold us back emotionally, people can hold us back but also being stuck in routine, can also. This card has come up today as a higher power continues to send messages in our path for us to take notice and be comfortable in moving on from things that hold us back. Do this all in your own time as trauma can be a process and seeking professional help is something you may need to consider.

You may also find that what you've been taught doesn't align with your morals and values. As we grow older, we start learning about the world and gain knowledge in a variety of subjects, so you may start creating your own morals and values as a result. This is more than okay as long as you're not harming anyone, you are just wanting to live your truth.

We may need to break free from any box we've been placed in or we may have been restricted in some way, sometimes restricting ourselves, and not really living our truth. This may be a time to really think about what's holding you back and breaking free of it. I have mentioned previously, it's like a phoenix - we shed the old to be reborn into the new. We may need this transformation so we can start living the life we are meant to. A higher power wants us living authentically, so what's stopping you from seeking the life you want?
