Lesson 210: Check In WEEK 30 - Waiting It Out

This week was a reminder for me to take a moment to pause when feelings start to arise and if you “wait it out”, there will be a shift that occurs. What happens is that when we’re in stressful situations, our bodies react with more alertness, chemical reactions and even a fear response.

I think there has been moments recently where I have stopped doing the practise of just breathing. Usually when I’m getting overwhelmed, I stop to do this, and I’m not sure why I’ve just forgotten to do this. It’s all about shifting energy really. Get rid of that which is having some negative impact on ourselves to release it. From there, it opens up space. Not only this, I was reminded that if I let things be, they will pan out with a solution. Sometimes it’s not about how much effort you can into fixing something that will stress you even further. It’s about just taking a step back, letting it be and taking a calmer approach and the solution may just come on it’s own. Whatever you believe in whether it’s God, the Universe, the Divine… if we surrender, then answers and solutions will come. Things may just fix themselves too.
