Lesson 57: Human Acupuncture Needle

To illustrate how we bring awareness into our clearing practice, consider the principle of acupuncture - the ancient Chinese practice of inserting tiny needles into the energy centers of the physical body to get the chi flowing again to restore balance.

You could say that you’re doing the same thing with clearing, only in this case what you “insert” to bring about change in the stuck places of your home and life is pure compassionate awareness.

In this case, the needle is you.

New week equals a new theme "Inserting Awareness.". I like that today we are to think about the ways we are penetrating all the stuck feelings and physical items. I’ve had a lot of buried memories stuck in my consciousness coming up for a reason. Most of the time I am not thinking about them, and they have resurfaced, which to me means I’m ready and strong enough to deal with those feelings.

I think awareness has been great throughout this exercise from when it was introduced in Week 2. I think bringing awareness to any clearing or decluttering activity allows you to deal with the connection in preparation for a possible release. Plus everything is in your own time. I know I definitely have mostly thoughts and memories that require healing. When I am able to clear all these thoughts that consciously and subconsciously hold me back, I think it’ll be very freeing and uplifting. I can’t wait for that day. I got a lot of work to do though.
