Day 290 - A Year to Clear - Be With Not Knowing

Lesson 290: Be With Not Knowing

Sometimes things in life don’t make sense. Sometimes we feel like we can’t figure things out so situations feel unresolved. Sometimes we are just boggled and can’t find the right answer. Today is about being okay with discomfort. That in the discomfort of not knowing, that we can find clarity as it will also reveal itself. What’s something that has been providing discomfort lately or an issue occurring in your life that you don’t really understand why?

For me, I think that the major thing that has brought questions of why, is my mum telling me she has a growth in her breast. I find out soon if it’s cancer. I have been trying to process it. It’s one of those things that you don’t wish upon anyone, especially someone you love, but it’s a part of life. I had a good cry and let the emotions flow through me. What makes me uncomfortable at the moment is the waiting game of further tests to confirm. The wait is the shittiest part of all of this.

What it has allowed me to think about is why it’s important to allow challenges in your life to flow through you. Get upset, take the time to process and then think about the way to move forward. What it teaches me is not to wallow and allow my emotions to consume me. I believe that it’s about embracing the discomfort and learning from it. There may be roller coaster moments of emotion during these challenges, but that’s all part of building resilience. We become strong through things we haven’t faced before – sometimes because we have to. I think it’s important to not solely face on what’s going wrong, but what positive thoughts and actions I can bring to the situation. It’s about how we overcome adversity and how that experience can assist another.  Sometimes it’s just about having to think bigger than ourselves.

Did you find clarity within something in your life this week?

Lesson 272: Burning Questions

I feel like today’s lesson is a repeat of what I’ve mentioned in previous lessons. When we have those burning questions and no answer, sometimes we need to just walk away and do another activity before we gain the clarity we need. Sometimes going for a walk to clear your head will allow the clutter to clear in your mind in order for the answer to come. If you ask the Universe before you sleep to give you answers in your dreams and allow you to remember them in the morning, that’s another method of gaining some answers. Maybe you might take a hot shower or bath, to relax your body which in turn relaxes the mind before an answer pops up. Whatever the method, sometimes we just got to distract ourselves for a moment to gain an answer. I personally meditate to gain some more clarity. The challenges I’ve been having during the week have been answered through advice of friends as well as seeking answer from my guides in spirit. In the lesson, it’s mentioned that to gain a clear answer, ensure your question is clear. I think I try to be specific as possible because I know in my witchcraft, if you’re unclear in what you want, you may not necessarily get back what you seek. The more specific you can be, the more the answer is precise. I believe this to be true, does this work the same for you?

Lesson 107: Sit Amongst the Trees...

The lesson is to just “sit amongst the trees” and if you can’t do that, see if you can be near the water, the sky or ocean – just anything within nature. Allow yourself to take a moment and really absorb and notice the feelings or clarity you receive. Do you notice your vibration change? Be open to this gift.

For me I live in a concrete jungle but there is a small grassed area across the way. Sometimes I lay out there with a friend and just look up at the sky. Whenever I do this, I feel so elevated. It’s peaceful, it’s calming and makes me feel good about myself. It’s nice to breathe in the air and really just soak it all in. I think when we do take these moments for ourselves, it’s nice to slow it down and not be part of our frantic routine. It’s very still. I always know that it’s going to be okay whenever I stop to take a moment. I feel really good in nature and feel like it really boosts me with energy.

What feelings or thoughts do you get when you have tried this?
