Lesson 294: Those Who Are Embarrassed...

“Those who are embarrassed or don’t like the terms guides, angels, entities, can use the idea of their higher selves, or Divine self, or another idea that is less personal, less characteristic. The guides don’t care what we call them.”

Today we are to think about higher beings and the Divine. Some people call those good entities angels, guides, God, the Divine, the Universe etc. Do you believe in these beings? If you don’t use those names, then what do you call them?

I believe in the Divine but I also refer to it as the Universe or Universal Power. I think there is a collective power but not controlled by just one God. I have always thought when I was younger that there is a group of beings – Gods and Goddesses that used their power to create this world and other worlds in other realms and dimensions. I know I have guides in the form of spirits that comprise of ancestors, animals, humans that may have lived on this earth and higher beings. I also have angels that have come to me also.

In terms of whom and what have come to me through my mind’s eye include- the Hindu God Shiva, Odin, angel Ezekiel, Gaia, Lilith, my grandma, my grandpa, a celtic ancestor, the Horned God, fairies, an eagle, stag, dragons, fox, an Atlantean named Gamma, Jesus, Apollo, Horus, Isis and so many more. I think whatever comes when you need that inspiration and guidance at the time.

So there’s a bit about what I have encountered on my spiritual journey. What do you believe in?

Lesson 293: Our Guides and Angels...

Love holds a high vibration. Our guides and angels continuously hold this for us though we forget to every day. Our vibration is constantly changing and reforming. Today we are to think about if we were a guide or angel, what advice would you give to a human? If you were a guide or angel, what would you tell yourself?

If I was in spirit guiding people, I think I would want to encourage people to always see the light in every situation. There is darkness everywhere -that cannot be denied, but that doesn’t mean we have to stay there. It’s about bringing the light, even in those times when we feel lost. There is always light in a situation and something we can transform and learn from.

I think we need to definitely awaken to a higher consciousness. There are so many ways we are living that isn’t in tune to our higher selves. We have the ability to influence each other in positive ways but society dictates much of our thinking. We need to break away from that in order to achieve our collective consciousness that connects us to the Divine.

We need true connection with each other rather than separating ourselves from one another. We are very much disconnected on an emotional level even though we live in a world where the internet brings us closer together. We definitely need to think beyond our immediate environment. We need to take care of ourselves and nature. We destroy the one thing that is meant to nurture life.

In terms of advice for myself – I talk to higher beings every so often and I know what I need to work on in life. I connect when I need to in order to get answers on larger questions. I use my tarot for my muggle human stuff. I guess the advice above is what I’ve been told also. There is much work to be done on earth for people that awaken. If everyone could awaken, it would be much easier. The challenge is non-believers and those that don’t believe in much more than this life.
