Energy Oracle Cards - Appreciation
/Appreciation
My Interpretation of the Card
Upright
This card shows a lady stopping to gaze upon a beautiful rose. Sometime in life, we get so caught up in everyday life and don’t really stop to appreciate what surrounds us. This lady stands next to a prickly bush and blossoming bush. This signifies that although some things may come to an end, there is something new and blossoming in the future. Sometimes we need to look at our situations and have gratitude for all that is present and passed in order to open up to the new.
Reversed
This card in reverse indicates some lost hope. That it’s hard to see the good when there have been some difficulty lately. Sometimes we just drown in some toxic cycles and when good appears, we can turn a blind eye to it. There is much beauty in the world to appreciate, even in the simplest of times. You may be going through this difficult time as something is to be gained from the lesson. It may be challenging and you can’t see the benefit at this time but know, once you get through it, there is much triumph to be celebrated after. You may feel under appreciated now and nothing right is going your way, but stick it out and you will start to see glimpses of light shine through.
Guidebook meaning – Summarised
Choosing Gratitude
Upright
The woman holds a single rose enjoying the scent and beauty of it. She stands next to a bramble bush and though she could focus on this but she has paused to experience the blessing in the single flower. The sun shines brightly on the buds waiting to open. This card indicates that there is so much to be grateful for with the flowering bush on the other side of the woman indicating that there are good things coming that you can’t see yet. Changing your mindset to have conscious gratitude will bring a lot of richness in your life.
Reversed
In reverse, this card means that you have been missing some opportunities and you have lost your sense of gratitude and you’ve got caught up in some negativity. Stop focusing on all the things you don’t have and try to refocus on all the positive things in your life. Having this gratitude may be a massive shift in focus but it is needed. If you keep yourself in the negative cycles, small pleasures will bring you no happiness and you’ll get yourself stuck in repeated problem patterns. Let go of the negative focus and try and turn your gratitude around. The more you appreciate in life, the more you will see your life turn around as well as appreciate in value.

Conclusion Between my Interpretation & Guidebook
So I did a reading for someone the other day and knew the upright position's meaning. Might seem like a little bit of cheating and I thought I would get the reverse exact but I'm a bit off. Brain feels tired so I don't think my efforts were that great. Pretty close in reverse meaning though.
