Day 4

Just searching through Google gives me quite a lot of inspiration. I feel like I can draw the backs of people quite better than what I can do front. I literally searched drawings and came across the two following pictures that seemed simple enough to copy.

Anchor

Just thought this would be a simple challenge. Wanted to mostly get the shading and shadowing right.

Ballerina

Thought the skirt was beautiful in this picture and wanted to draw it. Hopefully one day I will be able to draw something like this from memory. I feel like she's just having a rest before a much daunting task that's ahead.

Hope you enjoy these pieces because I really do

Day 3

Day 3 was a busy day. I got so excited at what could potentially do, that I just wanted to draw and draw and draw. I really enjoyed this day and got a few favs out of it!

Deer

I found some deer drawings online and tried to sketch off another person's drawing. Didn't really go to plan but I tried. Animals are quite hard to draw.

Dancer

Thought this turned out pretty well. I didn't allow myself enough room though so couldn't draw in the arms which would have completed the picture quite well. Copying off some image I found on Google. This is one of my favs

Solitude

This is also another fav of mine. I tried really hard to get her back to look right. Could have made her hair a bit better but I do not want to touch it any further.

I feel like she is having a private moment with just herself and her thoughts. She's quite alone and for me, it's like she wants someone to come to her and give her a hug or the support she needs.

Ariel

I feel that I did well in copying a picture of this Disney Princess. It's just a simple design and was quite easy to copy

Day 2

I only managed one drawing on the 2nd day before my debilitating dizziness illness took over. I wanted to draw a girl with a sugar skull face like what is depicted on Cinco de mayo. Not sure why, but I thought it'd be fun to draw. I think I mixed in some festival goer aspects into the face but I was just experimenting. A self critique is that I think I went too heavy on the eyelashes but I can only improve from here. I'm usually all for symmetry so I thought I'd go against my own grain on this one. Hope to draw more sugar skull type pictures in the future
