Fab Finds from Jay Jays

Went to Harbour Town in Perth again... Was actually going there to buy Birthday presents when my boyfriend asked me to buy him shorts. LiLi steps in Jay Jays. 2 hours later I come out with an assortment of clothing, some of which I will share below.

Women's

Men's

Please excuse my dodgy photos and the fact that I did not iron my clothes. They do look better in real life. :D

~~~~~~~~~~
Problem: Jay Jays had a sale - 50% off the already marked down clothing.
This meant the Ladies T-shirts costs $2.50. The most I paid for the Men's T-Shirts was $6. The skirts I purchased only cost $5.
You do have to dig a little because the clothes are literally piled onto one another on tables and they are mountains of clothing. They do stock from size 6-16 for women and go from XS-XXL for Men.
Sales and LiLi mix very well. It just means LiLi spends way too much money. In total bought 8 articles of Women's Clothing, 5 Men's tops and 2 Hello Kitty Watches and it cost me all up approx $60. Thought it was a killer bargain day!
If you got the time, spend as much as you can really hunting for some clothes that you like. Currently, I like to go for patterned clothing. I should also note, that Jay Jays were selling jeans and denim shorts for like $10 but I couldn't be bothered trying them on.
Accessorizing with Etsy
I was introduced to Etsy by a work colleague and was instantly addicted. It is literally the Ebay for crafters and suppliers.
It's uniqueness comes from normal, ordinary people who handcraft their items. You can find a good range of modern and vintage items. I personally like shopping for costume jewellery and jewellery making supplies but you can find anything from housewares, clothing, furniture, accessories, handmade toys, holiday gifts, bath and beauty supplies and much, much more.
The reason why I like searching for new items to buy on Etsy is because you are supporting another persons' interest and hobby whilst encouraging the fact that their items are great products. You also have the pleasure of knowing that what you purchase is probably the only version of it in the world.
Now I would like to share some of my personal favourites.
Punk Infanta specializes in chunky, cute, punky and kawaii jewellery. I am a big fan of her chunky rings and necklaces. I bought from this store some vintage looking necklaces as well as Hello Kitty necklaces. She also creates pins, earrings, chokers and rings. My order arrived in 2-3 weeks from US to Australia. She also included extra gifts with my order which I was pleasantly surprised by and instantly gave her positive feedback for.
Paper Biscuit is a super cheap store that sells mainly earrings and rings. The store I believe is based in Asia so delivery to Australia is fast. I received my items within 1-2 weeks. The main items you will find at this store, will be cute studded earrings. Items start as low as AU$3.00 and they offer special deals as listed on their banner ie/ buy 5 get 1 free.
superknicknacks are similiar to Paper Biscuit is selling cute, kawaii jewellery. The main focus is around earrings, necklaces and rings. Prices starts as low as AU$3.00 for studded earrings.
My top picks for Plastic Laser Cut Jewellery are Sugar & Vice, Cupcakes & Mace and Sweet Bliss Bistro. You can actually custom make your orders for personalized necklaces and it will take about 2-4 weeks for your order to arrive depending on how many orders they currently have.
Zefora Creations and Sweet as Candy have the most adorable, kawaii accessories!! I can spend a good few hours looking at the jewellery and then refrain myself from blowing all my money. Although these items may be a bit pricey, if you think about the time and effort going into these creations, you end up not minding to spend a little bit more. I am a sucker for Hello Kitty or anything just as dainty.
Last but not least, my favourite store is Viciously Pink. I personally contacted the store owner to say how much I love her items. I always get complimented on my earrings that I purchased from her. She specializes in earrings, bows, headbands and rings. I bought some handmade felt earrings with sparkly beading and bows and everyone seems to love them. For some reason her banner was not listed, so I just linked her website from the pic above, which is one of her items on sale. She is actually having a SUPER Sale at the moment and her items are always reasonably priced.
Updating my post on the earrings I bought from Viciously Pink that everyone seems to love!
Take a look around on the website and see if you find any creative items that you may want to buy as gifts or purchase for yourself :) Think about the effort taken to create the accessory and know that you are helping out another person in living their dream or expanding on their interest.
Have fun and don't spend too much money!!
