Etude House - Dear My Blooming Lips-Talk RD304
/My good friend came back from Manila and bought me some Etude House products.
My first review is of Dear My Blooming Lips -Talk RD304.
Whenever I used the rear facing camera, it kept making the colour look like a coral lipstick but it is far from it. This is why I edited the above pic to reflect the lipstick's true colour.
I interpret the colour as a hot pink red lipstick. It is bold, bright, fun and girly all at the same time. It works well for Asian skin as the products are made in Korea. That's not to say it wouldn't work well with other skin tones, but the colour combined with my skin, did not look overpowering and matched with just black eyeliner, made my look seem classic and simple.
To be honest, I find it hard to pull off any form of red lipstick. It is an art to find the perfect piece that you feel comfortable wearing but also compliments your features. I think why I like this shade so much is because of the hot pink tinge and I like hot pink lippies.
This pic makes the lipstick seem like a peachy pink colour. This was just in a room with natural light. So I tried direct sunlight and the results turned out like this:
The reason why the pic is blurry is because I was using the front facing camera on my iPhone. The rear facing camera did not capture the colour of the lipstick - it kept making it look like a dull pastey coral. This pic truly captures the colour. It looks like a hot pink red right? Well, that's how I see it.
I like this lipstick because it goes on smoothly with no cracking. You can feel your lips being moisturized and wears really well. You don't need to reapply too much to get the colour you need and it evenly distributes on your lips. It finishes with a creamy texture and I felt that it did not dry on your lips. Plus, the packaging is so cute! I don't even want to throw the box out because of how dainty and girly it is. Haha!
All in all, I am a convert to Etude House and am now looking into Asian make-up products to see how they fair on my skin. I want to see if Asian products work well for my Asian skin or if mainstream brands here in Australia are just as complimenting. We shall see :)

So, to buy these products, there is no direct link for Australia on the Etude Website.
I found this particular site from a seller in Australia: Pink Sakura. This website is great because they offer free shipping for orders over $50 and also sell other Asian manufactured beauty and cosmetic products.
For international customers:
And you can always trust Amazon ;)
