Lesson 170: When You Do a Cleanse...

For any type of cleanse you do, you’re trying to release something right? If you’re doing a diet change, it’s to be more healthy and maybe get rid of toxins; if you stop taking meds because you want your body chemical free; or if you’re just simply smudging to get rid of some negative energy, it’s all a type of cleanse. Today we are to limit what goes into our bodies and notice the feelings that circulate. It’s about taking away from our body’s addictions or distractions that it’s known and discover a new feeling.

I for some reason didn’t eat that much during the day and I wasn’t aware of this lesson prior – I tend to write about these lessons at the end of day. I was just eating a lot of fruit and that filled my day. In terms of thoughts, there wasn’t really much going on either. I just went to work, felt a bit tired, came home to eat, went to meditation and back home. Just went with routine and didn’t let anything bog me down in terms of thought processes. My body is clear of any alcohol and there was no sugary drinks today – not that I have too much of those. I’m trying to fill my body with just tea and water. For me it’s really about taking small steps and I can’t say my life ain’t bad at the moment. I do want to get to healthy eating but it’s sooooo hard in winter because you just crave warm, rich foods. I think if I start small with my drinking tea and water only, that’s a step in itself for a better body. What I do need to get onto is my stretches to help my back issues so this instead of laziness, I need to do the stretches to make my body feel good.

Lesson 169: When You First Begin...

When we choose to raise our vibration and frequency there is an energy shift. This can come in both physical and mental. There may be times when you getting sick, your muscles are sore, your head hurts and you start to see your emotions change in new ways. You might not realise that your body responds in this way for the energy shift. Today we are to see how we are feeling today. Do you feel different? You should feel different because each new day equals a new set of energy.

Although I feel drained, I feel good. Life is good for me at the moment and although I stress over silly things, deep down I know everything will work out. I know there is a plan for me and I need to get hard at work on it. Overall my life is good. I am fortunate to be in the life that I have. I think everyone has a purpose and it’s about finding your true path in your own way. I think when I got awakened, it just set me onto the best path. There aren’t always the right words to describe what I’m feeling. I’m just happy to be where I am and just letting it all play out.

Lesson 169: It Comes Built In

A new week equals a new theme and week 25 brings us “Letting in the Light”.

I feel like the message is going to be about opening ourselves up to possibilities that the Universe has for us, but also, finding the answers within. We all have the power to reflect inwards and find the truth within ourselves. If I’ve learned anything whilst sharing this journey, is that we need to expand ourselves in order to find the joy we desire. I think living with an open mind and heart will do that.

Good news is that we’re close to the half way mark of the year and each day I’m learning some new things about myself, that I might not have thought before. I have been challenged and my life s unfolding in many ways. So let’s see what this week brings!

Lesson 168: Signs, Synchronicities Abound...

The Universe talks to us in various ways through synchronicities and signs whether we notice them or not. Today we are to notice them and be amazed at the messages we receive. We just need to be open!

My Sunday didn’t really consist of many synchronicities. All I did was catch up on sleep because I felt run down, went to a friends house to watch Australian Football and came home to eat, catch up on blog posts whilst watching Vampire Diaries and go to bed. It wasn’t filled with messages to notice. Just a simple day.

What I will say that when I opened myself to my spirituality, things have fallen into place when I never thought they could. Like I asked “how am I going to find witches in Melbourne?”, and then all of sudden I’m working at a witchcraft store and finding people like me. I also found my medium teacher by chance researching crystal stores in Melbourne. I think just getting a thought in my head has led me to connecting to other people. I thought I might be alone but I’m finding that there are so many people out there like me and that makes me happy. I am living my best life right now and I am so thankful. Some people see sacred numbers everywhere but I honestly do not notice these number synchronicities. I just get people sent to me in various ways that are meant to cross my path and help me grow as a person.

I know the simplest of things that happens is when I think of someone and suddenly they are messaging me or appear in person. Sometimes I find it’s almost like a premonition of what’s coming. What I notice a lot is animals in my path that I believe hold symbolism to what I need to do in my life.

I also try not to overthink things and think everything is a sign or message. I don’t want to go fishing for answers and believe they fall into place. I think if you go searching too hard, you might just drive yourself bonkers and seeing things that aren’t really there. I do not believe in coincidence and everything is meant to be.

Lesson 168: Check In WEEK 24 - Breaking the Chain of Pain

The past 2 weeks has been about how we deal and identify with pain. It’s really about training yourself to be aware of the onset of emotions and confirming it’s yours or if you can change a pattern you normally go with. There was also a moment where we were opened to the concept of interconnectedness. That we as collective are bound together through our unconscious and conscious minds. Sometimes those emotions and feelings we think is ours might actually not be and be someone else’s.

I think the valuable lesson from these past 2 weeks is recognising that we have the power of influence. If we’re feeling a particular emotion, there is no need to bring others along with it. It’s about being more mindful how our actions can play out. Can we stop ourselves in the midst of our tracks so that we don’t recycle old patterns. We can always empower ourselves for change, so that we don’t bring about a negative vibe and decide to lift ourselves up, as well as those around us. There is always the power of change. We don’t have to get stuck in old patterns but it does take practise to become more aware to stop them from coming to surface.
