Day 152 - A Year of Spiritual Awakening - There is a Different Release...

Lesson 152: There is a Different Release...

Although we can use exercise as a release, it’s not true release if we are not using our hearts. Physical release is temporary in comparison to the heart which is infinite. Today we are to allow anger, rage and fear to come to the heart and when we begin to move, release the energy from the heart. Not only will you find release from the physical but you will feel it in your heart.

The way I achieved today’s task is to think about a situation that made me angry today – this was basically my work situation. I brought that rage into my heart. I then imagine white light filling my heart and the rage being released back into the Universe as black energy. I feel more uplifted by doing this. I let it all go.

How did you go?

Lesson 152: Take Your Time

If we take our time in clearing efforts, it creates a sense of ease and fluidity. It doesn’t become such a chore and a natural flow falls into place. This can take time or practise or you might feel this instantly.

I know when I decide to do a big clean, I’m just focused on the one task before I move onto the next. Even if the first task takes longer than normal, I’m always going at my own pace and not in a rush. I find I am a lot calmer this way and keep telling myself to get it done in my own time.

I find that I don’t only apply this to clearing efforts but simple tasks like walking to work every day. I don’t rush myself, take my time and am aware of my surroundings. This came about when I visited a councillor to manage my anxiety and the advice given was to be more in the moment. If you aren’t rushing, then you aren’t adding any more pressure or stress on yourself to get where ever you need to be on time. Sometimes I think it’s just more careful planning that allows more fluidity.

What ways have you brought about ease in your clearing efforts or every day life?

Day 151 - A Year to Clear - Not So Boring

Lesson 151: Not So Boring

When we put away things in our home, they can be boring. But, what if we just applied some awareness to each task, do you find that your energy changes? You might find that resistance occurs as the first mechanism of your body and thoughts. Practise this for a minute every day and notice your feelings. You may find a boring task is not so boring after all also.

I find that clearing can be challenging in that I would rather be doing something else, so the task can get pushed back for another time. Simple things like washing dishes can become so hard. I think what I have to do is really tell myself to “just do it”. I try to not to over think things when it comes to cleaning. I just keep doing it until I’m finished. I try not to place thoughts towards it otherwise I find I will just resist doing it. It’s more a CBF more than anything.

How did you apply awareness to your tasks today? Did you feel better or worse for it?

Day 151 - A Year of Spiritual Awakening - If You Are Exercising...

Lesson 151: If You Are Exercising...

Exercise is a good method of releasing emotions and thoughts. Today we are to consider our efforts of exercise and movement and how we use them. If you use it as a method of releasing and clearing without awareness and consciousness, then you’re not truly releasing.

I personally use dance as a way to just get moving and feel good. I don’t actually do dance as a way of release. I do find that walking to and from work to be effective. If I have issues that I’m facing, I really start to dig deep into why I have a certain feeling toward it and then I try to be present afterwards. I mean I try and let things go and pretty much ask the Universe to take away anything that doesn’t serve me. I believe it’s working well for me when I just ask for it to be gone rather than it be stuck in my head. I think focusing on letting go of that which doesn’t feed me positivity seems to work out.

Are you using consciousness to release? What are you methods of movement that allows you to release and clear?

Day 150 - A Year of Spiritual Awakening - The Pleasures of the Body...

Lesson 150: The Pleasures of the Body...

The pleasures of the body are manifold. Many of you are diligent in your pursuit of health, vibrancy, performance. But when the focus is only on the body—when the body is used as a releasing point, instead of the heart—this is not useful to you.
— Sara Wiseman

So, today’s lesson is about release. If you use exercise as a way of release, what happens on all those days that you don’t exercise? If you don’t have the pleasure of physical release what is your alternative? Do you use meditation, prayer or music to release anything that doesn’t serve you well?

I put on some calming music to try and get the noise of my neighbours having sex out of my head, but I also had just done about 10 medium readings for other people and just wanted a pick me up through meditation. I can safely say that it was a bit of a boost as I used breathing technique to accompany it. I didn’t end up getting the sexual noises out of my head – it was so damn loud. But to release, I usually listen to music as well. I need this tool especially as I’m walking to work as I get anxiety sometimes before I need to go. I usually pray before I go to bed just to thank the Universe and anyone in spirit for giving me a good day. I learn from my mother that every day we wake up is a gift so we should appreciate that. So, I just go over all the highlights and be thankful.

What do you do for release from the heart? And what methods do you use?
